GIANMARC MANZIONE, Editor, Bowlers Journal International and Bowlers Journal interactive — Manzione’s first story for Bowlers Journal won a national writing award in 2004. The holder of an MFA in creative writing from The New School has taught English at several colleges and universities, and from 2009-12 was Managing Editor and features writer for Bowl.com. Manzione’s work as a bowling writer also has appeared in The New York Times, and he is the author of a book about action bowling, “Pin Action: Small-Time Gangsters, High-Stakes Gambling, and the Teenage Hustler Who Became a Bowling Champion” (Pegasus Books). traklwright@aol.com, 312-341-1110
BOB JOHNSON, Senior Editor, Bowlers Journal International, Bowlers Journal interactive and BJI eBowler — Named California High School Journalist of the Year in 1975, Johnson began writing for Bowlers Journal in 1978. He became a full-time staff member in 2000, and in his seven years as Bowlers Journal Editor, oversaw the redesign of the magazine and quarterbacked the 300-page 100th Anniversary Issue (November 2013).
